The CloudZero plugin for Amazon Q Developer chat allows you to access cost insights from CloudZero without leaving the AWS Management Console.

You can use the CloudZero plugin to understand your AWS costs, get cost optimization insights, and track billing. After you receive a response, you can ask followup questions, such as the status or cost impact of CloudZero insights.

Before you can set up the plugin, you must obtain your CloudZero API key. This key serves as your authorization credentials and enables the connection between Amazon Q and CloudZero.

How to Copy Your Organization's API Key

You must be an Organizer to access your organization's API key.

Navigate to Settings > API Key and copy your organization's API key.
Follow the instructions in Amazon's documentation to provide the API key to Amazon Q.
