Grafana Cloud Connector
You can now connect Grafana Cloud to ingest its billed usage directly into CloudZero. Costs break down by signal type and stack, so Grafana spend sits alongside your other cloud providers in Explorer and can be allocated like any other source. Available in Private Preview.
Time Zone Preference
You can now choose the time zone used for supported timestamps — auto-detect from your browser or pick a specific zone from User Settings. Timestamps across Cloud Connections, Kubernetes Agents, Snowflake Data Sharing, Dimension Namespaces, Roles, and Users now reflect your choice, so you no longer convert from UTC in your head. Explorer, Analytics, Optimize, and Monitors stay in UTC for now to preserve billing aggregation consistency.
GitHub Actions Cost Attribution
GitHub Actions cost can now be attributed by user and by workflow file, so you can see exactly which people and pipelines drive your Actions spend.
Redis Cloud Connector
You can now connect a Redis Cloud account to bring its cost and usage data into CloudZero alongside your other providers. Available in Private Preview.
Documentation and Changelog
The documentation at docs.cloudzero.com has been restructured with new navigation, content, and breadcrumbs, and old links redirect automatically. The What's New page is now a proper Changelog, available both in the top nav and as a tab in the in-app Guide, so you can review the latest releases without leaving CloudZero.
Improved
- Explorer: Kubernetes usage metrics can now be filtered by cloud provider, region, and cloud account, so infrastructure filters narrow container data instead of clearing it.
- Organization Settings: The org-wide message now supports Markdown with a formatting toolbar and live preview, so banners render bold text, links, and lists instead of raw markup.
- Explorer: Saved views whose group-by dimension no longer exists are now greyed out and unselectable, with a tooltip explaining why, so you no longer land on a broken view.
- UX: U.S. timezones now display as concise labels such as ET, CT, MT, and PT across timestamps, making time columns easier to scan without seasonal abbreviation noise.
- Explorer: The time-series Compare control now lives in the Configurations panel as an inline view, giving you a roomier, more discoverable way to set up period-over-period comparisons.
- Cloud Connections: Anthropic Enterprise per-user cost and usage now ingests at hourly granularity, giving you finer-grained visibility into AI spend over the day.
- Datadog Connection: Datadog estimated cost now uses cumulative month-to-date aggregation everywhere, keeping ingestion working ahead of Datadog's July 2026 API change.
- Datadog Connection: Prior-month Datadog cost is now spread across days following the estimated daily pattern, so settled months show realistic daily detail in Explorer instead of a flat line.
- Explorer: You can now filter the Total Usage column by numeric thresholds — greater than, less than, equals, and between — making it easier to isolate high- or low-usage resources without scanning the full table.
- AWS Connection: An Automated Setup option is now available when connecting AWS resource accounts, launching the CloudFormation console to provision the required access in a few clicks instead of configuring permissions by hand.
- Kubernetes Agents: Editors can now hide clusters they no longer need to track and reveal them again on demand, keeping the cluster list focused on what matters.
- SSO Integrations: The single sign-on bookmark URL now appears as soon as the integration is created, rather than only after the connection test passes, so you can finish setup without waiting.
Fixed
- Azure Connection: Azure billing report downloads are now verified against their expected size and re-pulled when short, so a truncated download no longer replaces a full day of cost data.
- Views: Views created or edited with a dimension chosen by its display name now save correctly, so the affected cost projections render instead of failing for a small set of orgs.
- Dimension Studio: Namespace names are now restricted to standard ASCII characters at creation, preventing look-alike Unicode names that could not later be edited or deleted.
- Azure Connection: Subscription-scoped Microsoft Partner Agreement connections now ingest billing data correctly, resolving the cases where these connections reported no data.
- Datadog Connection: Tag discovery is now configurable per connection, so Datadog tags ingest reliably for both parent-org and sub-org account structures.
- Views: Creating a view with anomaly notifications enabled now succeeds instead of returning an error, so you can save views with automatic anomaly alerts reliably.
- Roles: Data-access filters on limited-access roles now save and apply correctly, resolving cases where role permission filters failed to take effect.
- Dimension Studio: Dimension keys containing underscores are now preserved when you edit the name field, so a key such as Account_Label no longer silently loses its underscores.
- Dimension Studio: The Delete Definition action now appears in the namespace actions menu for users with write access, so they can remove a dimension definition without help from support.
- Access Controls: Cost-type restrictions for limited-access users are now enforced correctly, so users only see the cost types their access permits.
- Optimize: Grouped recommendations are now ordered by potential savings instead of reverse-alphabetically by group name, so the highest-impact groups surface first.
- Optimize: You can now clear the last grouping on the recommendations list directly from the page, returning to a flat view without editing the URL or reloading.
- UX: The left navigation now stays hidden across page reloads and sessions once you collapse it, so your preferred layout persists without re-hiding it each visit.
- Azure Connection: Error responses from Azure connection actions now reach the browser correctly, so a failed connection shows the specific reason instead of a generic "Failed to fetch" message.
- Datadog Connection: Settled months now retain their day-to-day cost shape after a billing period finalizes, instead of collapsing into a flat line in Explorer.
- GitHub Connection: GitHub cost ingestion no longer fails intermittently during early-UTC hours, so the connection stays healthy instead of surfacing a transient internal error.
- Optimize: Monthly cost-impact figures shown for idle NAT gateway recommendations are now accurate, replacing occasional miscalculated totals and mislabeled timeframes.
- CloudZero MCP: Recent query history now returns correctly for organizations whose Explorer queries store multiple grouping or cost-type values, rather than returning no results.
- CloudZero MCP: Long, multi-turn agent conversations in large organizations no longer fail partway through, and oversized responses return a clear message instead of an abrupt error.
