Cost Formation

AWS account name is now available as a core dimension, so you can group and allocate cost by account name when authoring CostFormation definitions.

Optimize

A new recommendation, Right-Size Underutilized App Service Plans, is now available in beta for Azure and estimates the savings from stepping each plan down one size.

AI Signals

The AI Explorer cost table now includes an Export button that downloads the current view as a CSV, so you can pull cost, token, and model breakdowns into your own reporting workflow.

Improved

- Explorer: The AI spend cost table now has a single Expand All and Collapse All toggle for grouped rows, so you can open or close the full breakdown at once.

  • Explorer: Copying a segment or total cost from a chart now pastes an unformatted number, so values land as numbers in spreadsheets instead of text you must clean up.

  • Platform: Resetting a table's columns no longer clears your saved row density, so your compact or comfortable spacing stays in place across tables.

  • CloudZero MCP: Plain-language cost and usage questions now route to CloudZero's tools more reliably, so answers about cloud and AI spend come from your own data.

  • Optimize: All AWS Trusted Advisor, Azure, and GCP recommendations now include AI-generated enrichment context with evidence summaries, cost framing, and action guidance tailored to each recommendation type.

  • Optimize: The Enable AutoClass for GCS Bucket recommendation is now generally available for Google Cloud, flagging storage buckets where enabling AutoClass would reduce cost.

  • AI Signals: AI telemetry from LiteLLM keys that omit a user email is now attributed using the key alias, recovering usage that previously pooled into unattributed spend.

  • AI Signals: Cost values in the Livestream event table and detail sidebar now respect your organization's currency setting instead of displaying a hardcoded dollar sign.
Access Controls: API-key scopes in the scope selector are now organized under more customer-friendly category names, making it easier to find the permissions you need.

Fixed

- CloudZero MCP: Requests authenticated with an API key alone now succeed again, correcting a recent regression that rejected valid keys unless an Authorization header was also sent.

  • AI Signals: LiteLLM v2 inference events now carry their team, project, and task context, so AI spend from v2 proxies is allocatable again rather than landing as unattributed.

  • AI Signals: LiteLLM AI spend is now attributed to its actual model provider again, correcting a recent regression that labeled most of that traffic as an unknown provider.

  • AI Signals: Cross-region Bedrock Claude inference is now priced at the correct regional marketplace rate, correcting a ~10% cost understatement for organizations routing through cross-region inference profiles.

  • AI Signals: Oversized LiteLLM OTLP exports are now trimmed at the ingest edge, preventing pipeline stalls that delayed the Livestream for all organizations.

  • AI Signals: Replayed backfill events no longer reset the Livestream's time window, so backfill operations can run without stalling the real-time feed.

  • Explorer: Organizations with no cost data ingested now see an empty Explorer view instead of a persistent error that re-fired on every window focus.

  • Snowflake Data Sharing: When a required view is missing from your share, the connection now surfaces clear re-share guidance instead of a generic ingest failure.

  • Cloud Connections: Failures you can resolve yourself, like expired Databricks credentials or a revoked Snowflake share, now show re-authorize or re-share guidance rather than a generic error.

  • Snowflake Connection: The displayed effective rate now updates whenever the rate source changes, even when the underlying rate value stays the same.

  • macOS Collector: The collector now detects and regenerates an orphaned CA certificate when the private key is missing from the keychain, restoring telemetry delivery without manual re-registration.

  • Dimension Studio: Hidden billing dimensions no longer appear as selectable options in Explorer filters and Dimension Studio pickers.
